Swami Karunananda is back!

Sri Swami Satchidananda once said, “Never skip pranayama and meditation; they are food for the soul.” Control of the breath, through the yogic science of pranayama, is the best preparation for meditation, as the mind and the breath go together. By regulating the breath, we can calm and focus the mind. Once the mind becomes one-pointed, it becomes the greatest power on earth, enabling us to have success in all aspects of life. Ultimately, we will realize the True Self and experience perfect peace, joy and freedom. Come join us for an evening of exploration and practice of pranayama and meditation, and learn principles and techniques for greater health, happiness, and fulfillment.

Cost:  $25.00

It is highly recommend that people come with an empty, or light, stomach
so that it will be more comfortable to do the practices.

PLEASE RSVP TO RESERVE A SEAT.  THIS HAS BECOME A POPULAR WORKSHOP!

Swami Karunananda has served as Director for the Integral Yoga Institutes of San Francisco and Santa Barbara, as the President of the Santa Barbara Integral Yoga Ashram and has served as President of Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville, Virginia.  She has also edited several books: the Lotus Prayer Book, Enlightening Tales, as told by Sri Swami Satchidananda, and The Breath of Life: Integral Yoga Pranayama.  The combination of a compassionate heart and razor-sharp intellect has made Swami Karunananda one of Integral Yoga’s most popular teachers.  Her many workshops and retreats focus on meditation, the philosophy and psychology of Yoga, and pranayama for greater health and vitality.  She also co-developed and teaches Teacher Training programs in Raja Yoga and Meditation.
