Integrative Biologic Dentistry
Integrative Biologic Dentistry, A Holistic Approach to Health & Wellness with Dr. Phil Mollica, DDS
Integrative Biologic Dental Medicine is defined as dentistry that partners with the patient and dental practitioner to develop and integrate biologically safe, effective, established, and emerging treatment modalities. This allows for the treatment that is not subservient to any one school of dental thought. With that in mind the discussion will revolve around: 1. Dentistry that is holistic in nature and its implications in health and wellness. 2. What is a biologic dentist and as a patient what you should look for? 3. What awareness you should have on the dental materials placed in your mouth? 4. What and if, are the dangers associated with amalgam fillings and root canals? 5. Chronic dental infections are they the root cause of inflammation for example: cardiovascular disease. 6. What can you do to maintain you own oral health?
