Lisa Santoshi Castro, MSW, MBA, LCSW, RYT-500, CCTP, SEP Trainee is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment. She holds a Master of Social Work and an MBA in Healthcare, and is an RYT-500, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) Trainee.
Throughout her career, Santoshi has worked in leading psychiatric treatment centers across the country and has collaborated in developing inpatient and outpatient programs serving individuals with chronic mental illness, with a focus on fostering independence and long-term stability.
After relocating to Virginia in 2016, she served as Director of Behavioral Health Services for acute medical-surgical hospitals. In 2018, her first visit to Yogaville profoundly shifted her life’s direction.
She soon became a devotee of Sri Swami Satchidananda. During the pandemic, she completed Stress Management Teacher Training and began integrating these teachings to support hospital staff and patients. She received her spiritual name from Swami Marugananda and Mantra Initiation in 2021. Over the next four years, she completed Basic, Raja, and Meditation Teacher Trainings.
Feeling called to deepen her devotion and service, Santoshi entered the Integral Yoga Seminary in 2024 and was ordained in November 2025. She currently serves on the Ministry Board as Administrator and leads the Education and Outreach Committee.
